About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and results-driven individual to manage customer relationships, communicate effectively with customers, and drive sales growth. As a Sales Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • BUILDING AND MAINTAINING STRONG CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIPS THROUGH EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION AND PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS.
  • WORKING CLOSELY WITH OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVES TO ENSURE ACCOUNT ACTIVITIES AND COMMUNICATION ARE UP-TO-DATE.
  • PREPARING QUOTATIONS FOR CUSTOMERS AND DISTRIBUTING THEM ACCORDINGLY.
  • RESPONDING PROMPTLY AND EFFICIENTLY TO CUSTOMER REQUESTS AND ISSUES.
  • TRACKING STOCK LEVELS AND SETTING UP STOCK AGREEMENTS WITH CUSTOMERS.
  • CONFIRMING SCHEDULING AND ORDER CHANGES WITH CUSTOMERS AND UPDATING THEM ON STATUS.
  • INVESTIGATING AND RESOLVING CUSTOMER PROBLEMS RELATED TO DELIVERIES.
  • ASSISTING CUSTOMERS IN ARRANGING PAYMENT TERMS AND WORKING WITH ACCOUNTING TO APPROVE THESE ARRANGEMENTS.
  • ENTERING ORDERS INTO THE COMPUTER SYSTEM TO PREVENT ERRORS AND OMISSIONS.
  • PREPARING AND EMAILING TECHNICAL LITERATURE TO CUSTOMERS UPON REQUEST.
  • ANSWERING TECHNICAL QUESTIONS FROM CUSTOMERS.
  • INVESTIGATING AND PROCESSING RETURN REQUESTS FOR DEFECTIVE MATERIAL.
  • REVIEWING CUSTOMER PRINTS AND OFFERING POSSIBLE PART SOLUTIONS.
  • DEMONSTRATING BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES AND NECESSARY SKILLS TO ACHIEVE COMPANY DESIRED RESULTS AND EXPECTATIONS.
  • MANAGING MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS AND PROJECTS SIMULTANEOUSLY.
  • MONITORING ACCOUNT PERFORMANCE METRICS TO ENSURE CLIENT SATISFACTION AND RETENTION.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • EXPERIENCE AS AN ACCOUNT MANAGER IN A DISTRIBUTION ENVIRONMENT IS PREFERRED.
  • A POSITIVE AND HIGH-ENERGY ATTITUDE.
  • CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP BUILDING AND MANAGEMENT SKILLS.
  • ABILITY TO WORK IN A FAST-PACED SALES ENVIRONMENT.
