EFC International, a leading company in the industry, is seeking a Sales Relationship Manager to join their team in Hanover Park, IL.
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and results-driven individual to manage customer relationships, communicate effectively with customers, and drive sales growth. As a Sales Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for:
- BUILDING AND MAINTAINING STRONG CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIPS THROUGH EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION AND PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS.
- WORKING CLOSELY WITH OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVES TO ENSURE ACCOUNT ACTIVITIES AND COMMUNICATION ARE UP-TO-DATE.
- PREPARING QUOTATIONS FOR CUSTOMERS AND DISTRIBUTING THEM ACCORDINGLY.
- RESPONDING PROMPTLY AND EFFICIENTLY TO CUSTOMER REQUESTS AND ISSUES.
- TRACKING STOCK LEVELS AND SETTING UP STOCK AGREEMENTS WITH CUSTOMERS.
- CONFIRMING SCHEDULING AND ORDER CHANGES WITH CUSTOMERS AND UPDATING THEM ON STATUS.
- INVESTIGATING AND RESOLVING CUSTOMER PROBLEMS RELATED TO DELIVERIES.
- ASSISTING CUSTOMERS IN ARRANGING PAYMENT TERMS AND WORKING WITH ACCOUNTING TO APPROVE THESE ARRANGEMENTS.
- ENTERING ORDERS INTO THE COMPUTER SYSTEM TO PREVENT ERRORS AND OMISSIONS.
- PREPARING AND EMAILING TECHNICAL LITERATURE TO CUSTOMERS UPON REQUEST.
- ANSWERING TECHNICAL QUESTIONS FROM CUSTOMERS.
- INVESTIGATING AND PROCESSING RETURN REQUESTS FOR DEFECTIVE MATERIAL.
- REVIEWING CUSTOMER PRINTS AND OFFERING POSSIBLE PART SOLUTIONS.
- DEMONSTRATING BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES AND NECESSARY SKILLS TO ACHIEVE COMPANY DESIRED RESULTS AND EXPECTATIONS.
- MANAGING MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS AND PROJECTS SIMULTANEOUSLY.
- MONITORING ACCOUNT PERFORMANCE METRICS TO ENSURE CLIENT SATISFACTION AND RETENTION.

- A BASE SALARY OF $60,000 - $80,000 PER YEAR, DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- EXPERIENCE AS AN ACCOUNT MANAGER IN A DISTRIBUTION ENVIRONMENT IS PREFERRED.
- A POSITIVE AND HIGH-ENERGY ATTITUDE.
- CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP BUILDING AND MANAGEMENT SKILLS.
- ABILITY TO WORK IN A FAST-PACED SALES ENVIRONMENT.
