We are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Systems Principal Engineer to join our team in Melbourne, Florida. This role will involve designing and developing system architectures and defining key capabilities and performance requirements for vehicle management systems.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work as part of a team and organize work, manage time, plan, and prioritize. Key responsibilities will include managing VMS hardware procurement, earned value management, and development of VMS specifications, statements of work, and contractual terms & conditions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will need a Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field from an accredited university, with 8 years of system architecture definition experience, or a Master's Degree in STEM with 6 years of system architecture definition experience.

Experience with at least one of the following technical disciplines is also required: subsystem integration and test, data bus architecture definition, system integrity analysis, VMS architecture development, hardware procurement, and supplier performance management.

Benefits

Northrop Grumman offers a competitive salary range of $118,600 - $178,000, with opportunities for annual bonuses and long-term incentives. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, company-paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).

Estimated Salary Range: $150,000 per year
