Event Support Volunteer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized and reliable volunteer to support our development team with several signature events, including Golf for Joy, CCA Invitational, and JoyRx's annual Wonderball.

As an Event Support Volunteer, you will assist with project, event, and administrative tasks, such as procuring donations, tracking leads, and coordinating onsite events. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite products, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook, is required.

This is a part-time, temporary volunteer position, requiring occasional nights and weekend work. We welcome applications from candidates who can contribute to the diversity of our workforce across a range of dimensions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide project, event, and administrative support as needed.
  • Assist with onsite event coordination, including procuring donations and tracking leads.
  • Update reports and perform special projects as assigned by the Development team.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite products, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Non-profit experience a plus.
  • Ability to operate semi-independently and carry out a variety of organizational tasks with limited supervision.

Work Environment:

This position will work remotely Mondays and Fridays and in the JoyRx office Tuesday-Thursday. Occasional travel within a 40-mile radius of Portland may be required.
