Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Operations Supervisor to oversee the daily activities of our distribution center in Gaylord, Minnesota. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless logistics workflow and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Michael Foods Inc., a leader in the food processing and distribution industry. As a Warehouse Operations Supervisor, you will lead a team of experienced professionals in managing the flow of goods, coordinating with office staff, and promoting teamwork among your shift and across shift lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct pre-shift meetings to ensure all team members are aware of daily goals, workload, and changes.
  • Monitor doors and implement procedures for inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Collaborate with office staff to maintain consistent workflow and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Verify Hot List loads and monitor pallet truck deliveries to ensure timely unloading and reloading of trailers.
  • Implement safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries on the floor.
  • Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, assist operators, and perform daily tasks as needed.
  • Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and report any damages or issues to management.
  • Act as a backup supervisor during their absence and provide guidance to new employees.
Requirements
  • A minimum of six months experience in a palletized warehouse environment.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Successful completion of Michael Foods Power Industrial Truck program.
