Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Subcontract Admin to join our team at BAE Systems USA. This role will be responsible for developing procurement strategies, acting as an advisor on legal requirements, and overseeing proposal preparation and contract negotiation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop procurement strategies, including clear and concise Statements of Work (SOW).
  • Act as an advisor on legal requirements, best practices, terms and conditions, and delivery schedules.
  • Oversee proposal preparation, pricing activities, and contract negotiation with the US government.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert interpreting contractual terms and conditions.
  • Guide higher-level supplier relationships, including kick-off meetings and performance measurement.
  • Coordinate post-award supplier implementation plans and activities.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Establish metrics and supplier scorecards to collect end-user feedback.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience or equivalent experience.
  • Experience overseeing proposal preparation, pricing activities, and contract negotiation with the US government.
  • Knowledge of the FAR/DFAR.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience overseeing multi-million dollar contracts.
