Regional Sales Director

As a Regional Sales Director at bioMerieux Inc., you will be responsible for leading a team of Account Managers and Product Specialists to achieve regional revenue and profitability objectives. Your key duties will include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Validating local sales information and recommendations to ensure alignment with governing strategic plans and marketing reviews
  • Preparing and implementing regional sales action plans to drive business growth
  • Ensuring quality and customer-service standards are met across the region
  • Identifying local market trends and implementing regional sales system improvements

You will also be responsible for:

Leadership and Development
  • Recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, and mentoring direct reports and other Regional Sales Directors
  • Communicating job expectations and planning, monitoring, and reviewing job contributions
  • Establishing fluid teamwork relationships with cross-functional teams

Additionally, you will:

Customer Engagement and Growth
  • Maintaining and expanding the customer base by supporting Full Potential sales activities
  • Building and maintaining rapport with key customers and identifying new customer opportunities
  • Developing relationships with new Key Opinion Leaders within the assigned sales region

To succeed in this role, you will need:

Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of field sales representative experience and 5 years of field-based sales team management/leadership experience
  • Experience as an effective sales leader in a matrixed environment
  • A proven track record of field-based sales management and/or corporate account management with exceptional sales results
