Regional Sales Director

As a Regional Sales Director at bioMerieux Inc., you will be responsible for leading a team of Account Managers and Product Specialists to achieve regional revenue and profitability objectives. Your key duties will include:
Key Responsibilities- Validating local sales information and recommendations to ensure alignment with governing strategic plans and marketing reviews
- Preparing and implementing regional sales action plans to drive business growth
- Ensuring quality and customer-service standards are met across the region
- Identifying local market trends and implementing regional sales system improvements
You will also be responsible for:
Leadership and Development- Recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, and mentoring direct reports and other Regional Sales Directors
- Communicating job expectations and planning, monitoring, and reviewing job contributions
- Establishing fluid teamwork relationships with cross-functional teams
Additionally, you will:
Customer Engagement and Growth- Maintaining and expanding the customer base by supporting Full Potential sales activities
- Building and maintaining rapport with key customers and identifying new customer opportunities
- Developing relationships with new Key Opinion Leaders within the assigned sales region
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Requirements- A minimum of 5 years of field sales representative experience and 5 years of field-based sales team management/leadership experience
- Experience as an effective sales leader in a matrixed environment
- A proven track record of field-based sales management and/or corporate account management with exceptional sales results
