About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Oral Health Specialist to join our team at Care One, Inc. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on patients' lives while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.

As an Oral Health Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting thorough oral examinations, performing dental cleanings, and providing personalized care to patients. You will work closely with our dentist team to ensure that patients receive the highest level of care possible.

Key Responsibilities

Dental Cleanings and Examinations

You will conduct routine dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth, to remove plaque and tartar. You will also perform thorough oral examinations to identify any potential issues or signs of tooth decay.

Patient Education and Support

You will educate patients on proper oral health techniques, including brushing, flossing, and medication use. You will also provide guidance on how to prevent oral health problems and maintain good oral hygiene.

Treatment Planning and Coordination

You will work with our dentist team to develop treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs. You will also coordinate with patients to schedule appointments and ensure that they receive the necessary follow-up care.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene or related field
  • Current Michigan Dental Hygienist license
  • Anesthesia Certification
  • Strong patient assessment and management skills
  • Able to work effectively with diverse patient populations
  • Certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)

What We Offer
