ManTech is seeking a skilled Application Developer to join our team of top Information Technology and Analytic professionals. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development and enhancement of our innovative, self-contained Big Data environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, programming, and modifying software systems, applications, and tools. You will work closely with our team to analyze user needs and software requirements, ensuring that our solutions meet the highest standards of quality and security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop software systems, applications, and tools to meet user needs and requirements
  • Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints
  • Collaborate with teammates to develop new program features and ensure seamless integration
  • Develop unit and integration tests to ensure programs produce desired results
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure adherence to standards and best practices
  • Deploy code to development, test, and production environments using existing DevOps infrastructure/tools
  • Review help desk messages and work with other teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues
  • Organize and maintain documentation of application development and subsequent revisions

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of relevant Information Technology experience
  • Strong Java programming skills with hands-on experience
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern front-end framework (preferably Angular)
  • Experience with the Spring Framework and RESTful services
  • Experience with SQL and ORM libraries (such as Hibernate/JPA)
  • Experience with Git branching and merging within a team to manage source code
  • Strong ability to manage competing priorities and communicate with multiple stakeholders
  • High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Ext JS (v3 and v4), Groovy (v2), Grails (v2), and Bootstrap (v3+)
  • Understanding of SQL and Elasticsearch
  • Cloud experience, particularly AWS

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • TS/SCI w/ Polygraph

Physical Requirements:

  • Use hands to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery
  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Constantly position self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet
