Program Assistant

Lifeline Connections is a community-based behavioral health organization seeking a skilled Program Assistant to support our Mt Vernon site. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in organizing, coordinating, and monitoring nonclinical operations under the direction of the Clinical Supervisor or Program Director.
This is a non-exempt position that requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service, high-quality programs, and well-trained and dedicated staff. Key Responsibilities- Organize and coordinate nonclinical operations, including receptionist activities, triaging calls, and coordinating communication between the team and patients.
- Develop and manage the daily staff schedule, track staff vacations and leave, and maintain and review budgets for the operation of the facility.
- Work with clients to meet individual service plan goals, order and maintain unit supplies, equipment, and furniture, and assist nurses in ordering medication for clients.
- Record admissions and discharges, maintain client charts according to Joint Commission standards, and support staff in office tasks.
- Establish and maintain relationships with community agencies and service providers to meet client needs.
- Assess and report clinical behaviors and information, communicate with landlords regarding client rental agreements, and operate and coordinate computer and management information systems.
- Bachelor's degree in human sciences or related field or equivalent work experience required.
- Washington State Agency Affiliated Counselor Credential required.
- Preferred experience in a behavioral health setting and office management.
- Possess people and problem-solving skills to assist and support clients with severe and persistent mental illnesses and their families.
- Solid organizational skill and ability to make contacts and establish relationships to get information necessary for the program to function within the larger system.
