Account Reconciliation Finance Expert

We are seeking a skilled Account Reconciliation Finance Expert to join our team at Vaco. This role involves identifying and correcting errors in data entry, posting account adjustments, reviewing and reporting account discrepancies, requesting and pursuing payment on delinquent accounts through communication with account holders, maintaining a log of payment promises and account details, scheduling follow-up communications, reviewing daily transactions and updating account statuses according to guidelines, reconciling accounts receivable between sub-ledger and general ledger, conducting bad debt analysis, administering billing and reporting activities to meet deadlines, creating daily and monthly journal entries, handling customer setup and communicating with banks regarding new accounts/authorizations, and preparing weekly cash forecasts for managed customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and correct errors in data entry.
- Post account adjustments.
- Review and report account discrepancies.
- Request and pursue payment on delinquent accounts through communication with account holders.
- Maintain a log of payment promises and account details; schedule follow-up communications.
- Review daily transactions and update account statuses according to guidelines.
- Reconcile accounts receivable between sub-ledger and general ledger.
- Conduct bad debt analysis.
- Administer billing and reporting activities to meet deadlines.
- Create daily and monthly journal entries.
- Handle customer setup and communicate with banks regarding new accounts/authorizations.
- Prepare weekly cash forecasts for managed customers.

Salary Range:The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on location and experience. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
