Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Program Coordinator to join our team at BronxWorks. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of program goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate with senior staff to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Prepare reports for funding sources and participate in department meetings.
  • Organize and plan staff trainings, monitor staff performance, and provide quality assurance for case management input.
  • Conduct program audits and report any issues with client records.
Specific Responsibilities
  • Collect statistical information from CARES and other databases to write reports.
  • Extract data to identify trends and problems and present findings in meetings.
  • Track program assets and monitor staff remote productivity performance.
  • Participate in fiscal meetings and prepare weekly reports as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of one year's experience in social services.
  • Bilingual verbal and written skills preferred.
  • Proficiency in business communications and virtual meeting platforms.
  • Experience in program coordination, preferably in a nonprofit setting.
  • Fiscal management expertise, including budgeting and reporting.
  • Knowledge of public benefits, immigrant services, and migrant shelter systems.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to use a computer for prolonged periods.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, or sit for long periods of time.

BronxWorks offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.
