Software Support Specialist

Position Overview

Our client, a leading manufacturer, is seeking a contract Software Support Specialist to provide technical support for cloud-based software. Key responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving software issues, maintaining communication with users, and documenting support ticket resolutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a problem-solving mindset. This position is an onsite role.

  • Key ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot software and hardware issues and communicate resolutions clearly to users
  • Develop an understanding of the team, processes, and technical stack to resolve common problems
  • Maintain, update, and escalate (when necessary) support tickets
  • Research and document best practices for problem-solving
  • Communicate statuses on a regular cadence
  • Identify areas for cost reductions, operational efficiencies, or growth and communicate to leadership with actionable next steps
  • Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with ERP, CRM, and SaaS applications (Salesforce preferred)
  • Basic network troubleshooting and familiarity with hardware (printers, phones, A/V equipment)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to communicate with a variety of people including management, customers, external vendors, and employees
  • Additional Plus:Fluent in Spanish

Compensation Range

$20.00-$30.00

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown. The Doyle Group offers a competitive rewards package, which includes a 401k, healthcare coverage, and other benefits.
