We are seeking a highly skilled Security Service Technician to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a critical part of our commercial security systems, you will work collaboratively with our customers to service and maintain security alarms, fire alarms, access control, video surveillance, intercoms, and other low-voltage systems.

Competitive Hourly Rate: $31.50-$41.25 per hour (based on education, experience, and internal equity)

About the Job

In this role, you will conduct on-site system inspections, prepare estimates, and test the operation of systems to ensure proper establishment of service. You will also be responsible for reading building, electrical, and sprinkler blueprints as required and coordinating installations with police/fire departments and handling necessary records for notification of emergency calls.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Washington State General Journey Level Electrician (EL01) license or Master Limited Energy System (EL06) license
  • A minimum of 2-5 years of low-voltage experience
  • Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, programs schematics, and operational/product manuals
  • Ability to pass an MVR, Background Check, and Drug Test
