Genesis Healthcare Services is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Director of Nursing in Training. This intensive orientation and training experience will equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in a leadership role.

Program Highlights:

  • 12-month program with management training utilizing clinical, human resource, financial, and leadership modules
  • Develop a knowledge base of Genesis policies and protocols impacting patient/resident outcomes
  • Evaluate patient/resident care outcomes by working with the interdisciplinary team
  • Engage in the budgetary process, payroll analysis, reimbursement issues, and staffing ratios
  • Obtain a knowledge base of state and federal regulatory processes, quality indicators, quality measures, and certification agencies

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, college, or university with current registered nurse licensure
  • BSN preferred with pursuit of a BSN within a reasonable period of time strongly encouraged
  • A minimum of four years full-time or equivalent clinical experience with increasing responsibility
  • Long Term Care experience preferred and may be required per State regulations
