At Dayton Area School Consortium, we are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated individual to fill the role of Intervention Specialist at our Deerfield Campus in Mason. About the Role:

  • This full-time position involves working closely with students, teachers, and support staff to provide daily instruction and support to ensure student success.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • The Intervention Specialist will be responsible for preparing daily lesson plans, supervising students, evaluating student progress, and communicating with parents and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to provide targeted support and interventions.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, making data-driven decisions to inform instruction.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress.

Requirements:

  • A valid Ohio certification or licensure in a relevant area.
  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds unassisted and maneuver stairs without assistance.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
