Highway Pipe Installation Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pipe Foreman to oversee the installation of water, storm, and sewer pipelines in Ashburn, VA.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating construction projects, ensuring efficiency and quality throughout the process. This position offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and manage a crew responsible for installing water, storm, and sewer pipelines
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project plans to ensure accurate installation of utilities
- Ensure proper alignment, elevation, and grade for pipe installations
- Coordinate with project managers, site superintendents, and other trades to ensure timely completion of work
- Monitor daily activities to ensure production goals are met while maintaining quality and safety standards
- Enforce safety protocols and conduct daily safety meetings with the crew
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise on-site, including conflicts in plans, weather delays, and equipment malfunctions
- Ensure equipment and tools are properly used and maintained
- Prepare daily reports on job progress, crew performance, and any site issues
- Work with inspectors to ensure all work passes regulatory inspections and quality control checks
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in pipe installation for civil construction projects
- Previous experience as a Pipe Foreman or similar leadership role in utility installation
- Strong understanding of civil construction practices, including trench safety, excavation, and pipe-laying techniques
- Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and specifications
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage crews and collaborate with other trades
- Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
- Proficiency in operating heavy machinery used for pipe installation (excavators, loaders, etc.)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
