Maintenance Supervisor at Indiana Packers Corporation

We are currently seeking a qualified Maintenance Supervisor to manage maintenance operations at our facility. Position Summary

The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for leading the maintenance team, ensuring optimal equipment performance, and implementing effective maintenance strategies to reduce downtime.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and direct maintenance team activities in accordance with established protocols.
  • Mentor team members on safety practices, quality standards, operational efficiency, and cost-saving measures.
  • Conduct performance assessments and delegate daily responsibilities.
  • Ensure compliance among team members through regular oversight.
  • Oversee equipment maintenance schedules and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Complete Root Cause Analysis and document downtime incidents.
  • Support weekend operations and manage ongoing tasks.
  • Address equipment failures and assess training requirements through audits.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience with processing machinery and electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with USDA and HACCP regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and work around raw materials.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
  • Strong leadership, safety compliance, and decision-making abilities.
  • Openness to ongoing training as necessary.

This role requires physical activity and may involve lifting heavy objects.
