The Mount Sinai Health System is seeking a highly skilled and experienced medical professional to fill the role of Residency Program Director for our Combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics program. About the Role:
In this key leadership position, you will be responsible for overseeing and administering the residency program, ensuring that it meets the highest standards of excellence in clinical learning and professional development. You will work closely with the Department of Medicine and Pediatrics to provide high-quality didactic and clinical education to our residents. Your expertise and experience will help shape the future of medicine by fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the program.

Your Responsibilities:
- Oversee the selection, evaluation, and promotion of residents
- Ensure compliance with ACGME policies and procedures
- Collaborate with the Institutional GMEC/DIO on accreditation-related requests and reports
- Foster relationships with local community leaders and organizations to align program practices with our mission
- Regularly assess and promote resident well-being, diversity, equity, and inclusion

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A Medical Degree from an accredited university
- A New York State Medical License (or eligible)
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Graduate Medical Education and/or community health leadership
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Outstanding interpersonal, mentoring, and teaching abilities

What We Offer:
The Mount Sinai Health System provides a competitive salary range of $260,000 to $317,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
