We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team in a dynamic environment. This role involves managing office operations, coordinating administrative tasks, and supporting various departments.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage bookkeeping and accounting functions at the corporate office to assist in the preparation of monthly and yearly financial reports.
  • Enter and reconcile journal entries, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other transactions.
  • Process accounts payable and ensure timely payments to vendors.
  • Conduct inventory reconciliations and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist with the preparation of simple taxes and provide support during tax season.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting filing systems.
  • Communicate effectively with external accountants, vendors, store managers, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an administrative, office management, payroll, HR, or similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Accounting software (Peachtree/Sage 50/QuickBooks).
  • Thorough understanding of Accounting principles and ability to accurately enter data.
  • Bookkeeping/Accounting experience or qualifications required (Initial training and orientation will be provided).
  • Motivated, organized, able to multitask, accurate, detail-oriented with ability to work independently.
  • Committed to the success of the Company with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Team player with ability to work with multiple players.
  • Ability to handle and maintain confidential and sensitive information; trustworthiness a must.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
