Overview

As a Bartender at The Abbey Resort, you will be responsible for creating a unique and exceptional beverage experience for our guests. You will work in a fast-paced environment, serving a variety of cocktails, beers, and wines, and providing excellent customer service. You will be part of a talented team that is dedicated to creating memorable experiences for our guests. Responsibilities

As a Bartender, you will be responsible for:

• Greeting guests as they arrive or move about the bar area
• Maintaining proper and adequate set-up of the bar daily or per event set-up
• Responsible for maintaining stock, cutting, and storing of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables daily to ensure product quality
• Mixing, garnishing, and presenting drinks following standard ingredient recipes and practicing portion control
• Working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Being accurate in your product and inventory counts, confirming all special requests and orders
• Working collaboratively with other restaurant, bar, and event staff
• Finalizing the experience through timely and accurate product delivery and bill presentation (as applicable)
• Locking up and storing all beverages, food, and other equipment items, depositing cash drops, and securing bank at end of shift

Requirements

We are looking for highly motivated team members who are passionate about service and enjoy creating exceptional experiences for our customers. The ideal candidate will have:

• An engaging and welcoming personality
• 1 year of beverage service experience preferred
• Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits
• The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• A passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests
• Excellent communication skills
• A strong attention to detail
• A flexible schedule that allows them to work weekends and holidays
