Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Care Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care services, ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform bathing, oral hygiene, and hair care services for patients.
  • Respond promptly to patient needs and requests, providing timely services that enhance their physical well-being.
  • Participate in regular rounds to assess patient needs and ensure quality care.
  • Transport patients to treatment centers and assist transporters with moving patients safely.
  • Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment, such as bedpans, urinals, and wheelchairs.
  • Keep patient rooms clean and organized, including making beds.
  • Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong understanding of patient needs and be passionate about delivering superior quality care. You should be an inventive problem solver who thrives in a dynamic environment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent OR relevant work experience (3+ years).
  • BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant, or experience in a related field such as a medical assistant or actively enrolled nursing student.

Compensation and Benefits:

This role offers a competitive salary of $19.00/hr, with a pay differential for nights and weekends. We also offer a range of benefits, including opportunities for professional growth and development.
