Job Summary
Radiologic Technologists play a vital role in the diagnosis of disease and injury, performing radiology procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients under the supervision of a Radiologist. To excel in this position, you will need to maintain high-quality imaging procedures, adhere to established protocols, and demonstrate an understanding of radiation dose reference levels.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will perform radiology procedures according to exam protocol, ensuring timely and accurate results. Key responsibilities include:
  • Maintaining production and quality of imaging procedures by following established standards and procedures.
  • Demonstrating an understanding of radiation dose reference levels, radiation dose monitoring, actions to be taken if the estimated dose exceeds set dose reference levels, and actions to be taken for cases when the reference level was exceeded which may include patient follow-up.
  • Instructing and communicating with patients and their family regarding the test to be performed and assessing patient's ability to tolerate exam.

Requirements
To succeed as a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you must possess:
  • Able to perform high-quality radiology procedures according to exam protocol in a timely manner.
  • Able to explain the procedure and put patients at ease.
  • Able to provide services in a timely, accurate, and cost-efficient manner in compliance with established System and regulatory standards, policies and procedures.

Estimated salary for this position is $68,000 - $90,000 annually, based on location and experience.
