About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our team at Philips. As a Network Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the network infrastructure for our patient monitoring solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales and service partners, customers, and healthcare institutions to ensure successful integration of solutions into the customer IT environment.
  • Leverage insights to drive service innovation leads that align with customer needs.
  • Deliver, deploy, and/or integrate software solutions within the purview of the associated domain for complex IT solutions.
  • Participate as a key member of the implementation project and/or support team.
  • Apply industry standard practices and Philips standard implementation to all customers who choose Philips solutions.
  • Resolve technical issues and offer proactive technical support.
  • Practice strong configuration management and version control.
  • Document solutions to ensure support teams and other consultants can participate in support and onward development.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional working experience in the IT technologies or electronics industry, preferably in a field or hospital-based service environment.
  • Experience with patient monitoring, telemetry units, ventilators, and defibrillators highly preferred.
  • Network configuration and/or troubleshooting experience, and obtained the Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification.
  • Significant progress toward professional level certifications may be considered.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics, biomedical, or other related disciplines or equivalent combination of education and experience.
