About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Operations to join our team at Wayspring. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the success of our Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Home solution in partnership with multiple health plans across the state of Kentucky.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the performance of Wayspring's SUD Home solution, ensuring alignment with business objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive program outcomes, partnership opportunities, and in-market initiatives, in partnership with shared services teams.
  • Partner with care delivery teams to identify areas for improvement, adjust staffing needs, and develop engagement strategies to meet performance targets.
  • Collaborate with centralized shared services teams to analyze operating performance, clinical outcomes, and opportunities for improved execution and ongoing advancement of solutions.
  • Ensure all market operations meet or exceed clinical targets, goals, SLAs, and KPIs, and develop action plans to address any gaps.
  • Build and maintain relationships with other providers in the state to facilitate workflow integration and collaboration in our at-risk population.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including matrix leaders, teams, and external client stakeholders.
  • Represent Wayspring in the healthcare professional community, maintaining knowledge of the healthcare landscape and staying up-to-date on industry trends.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Minimum of ten years of deep operational experience in healthcare organizations, with a strong understanding of value-based care, population health models, and capitated risk arrangements.
  • Proven track record of achieving goals and delivering outcomes, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Master's degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated domain expertise, with a clear understanding of healthcare workflows and practical use of information, experience with practice transformation.
  • Inspirational leadership skills, with the ability to lead teams to success and work effectively in both team and individual settings.
