About the Role

The Education and Development Lead is responsible for maintaining an open, friendly, and cooperative relationship with each child and family. This includes developing and implementing age-appropriate curriculum, ensuring the physical safety and well-being of each child, and attending training sessions for professional and program development.

The ideal candidate will have a warm and friendly personality, be sensitive to the feelings and needs of others, and be able to relate well to children. They will also have strong oral and written communication skills, basic computer skills, and a strong understanding of child development.

Responsibilities
  • Maintains an open, friendly, and cooperative relationship with each child and family
  • Develops and implements age-appropriate curriculum (lead teachers only)
  • Provides for the physical safety and well-being of each child, from arrival to departure
  • Attends training sessions for professional and program development
  • Ensures licensing requirements are implemented
  • Completes timely, neat, accurate documentation of screenings and ongoing assessments to determine motor, language, social, cognitive, and emotional skills.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
