Woodchipper Operator

**Job Description:**

As a Woodchipper Operator - Vegetation Management, you will play a critical role in our team's success. Your primary responsibilities will include operating a chainsaw to cut brush, logs, and stumps of larger trees, gathering and feeding brush into a woodchipper, and applying chemical herbicide to right-of-way. You will also utilize a hose and spray nozzle to treat remote areas, service vehicles and equipment, and maintain them in neat, clean, and specified mechanical order.

A successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You will work in various weather conditions, exposed to nature, irritating plants, biting or stinging insects, dust, etc. A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required for this role.

Work Environment:

You will work on unlevel ground, around hazardous equipment, falling debris/tree limbs, and excessive equipment noise. The job requires standing, walking, and manual dexterity. You will work in all temperatures and weather conditions.

Compensation Package:

This position offers a competitive compensation package, including hourly wages, company-sponsored retirement plan, health insurance (medical/dental/vision), employee assistance program, life, long-term/short-term disability insurances, and more. The estimated annual salary range for this position is $55,000 - $75,000, depending on experience.
