US Foods is seeking a skilled CDL A Delivery Truck Driver to join our team. As a valued member of our logistics team, you will play a critical role in delivering products to our customers while ensuring timely service.

Job Description:

As a CDL A Delivery Truck Driver at US Foods, your responsibilities will include:

  • Safely operating trucks to deliver products to customers while adhering to scheduled delivery times
  • Carefully unloading products from the trailer using equipment such as two-wheelers, pallet jacks, or by hand
  • Verifying accuracy of deliveries with customers and obtaining proper signatures
  • Handling collections and payments from customers when applicable
  • Providing exceptional customer service to enhance our client experience
  • Performing pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections to ensure vehicles are in good working condition

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A valid CDL Class A license issued by the state of residence, with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
  • A minimum of six months commercial driving experience (any industry) or three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry
  • The ability to read and communicate in the English language
  • Physical stamina to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ pounds of product repetitively during each shift
