We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Marine Vessel Fabricator to join our team at LaborOne Staffing. This role is based in Brownsville, TX and Ingleside, TX.

About the Job:

  • This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 50-60 hours per week.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for performing steel structural work in all stages of new construction of marine vessels with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Read and interpret blueprints and job specifications to understand project requirements.
  2. Perform tasks such as cutting, welding, and assembling structural components according to established procedures.
  3. Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth project execution.
  4. Conduct quality control checks to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the shipbuilding or offshore industry.
  • Demonstrated expertise in steel structural fabrication, including welding, cutting, and assembly techniques.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations applicable to the marine vessel construction industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
