Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our skilled nursing unit at Laredo Medical Center. The ideal candidate will have experience working with geriatric patients and be able to provide care for various post-acute needs, including surgical, neuro, cardiac, and more.
About the Role- Evaluate assigned patients and develop individualized care plans
- Collaborate with physicians to administer medications and perform patient tests
- Promote patient independence by teaching self-care skills and providing education on conditions and medications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A graduate degree from an accredited RN program
- Licensure as a R.N. by the Texas State Board of Registered Nurse Examiners
- A minimum of 3 months' experience as an RN, preferably in a skilled nursing setting
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire
