Job Overview
The Medical Care Specialist will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive care and support to patients at Greater Baden Medical Services. This position requires a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with experience in clinical care, patient education, and community outreach.
About the Job
- Clinical Care and Follow-Up: The LPN will provide routine follow-ups for patients, including monitoring lab results, managing prescriptions, and addressing any medication-related concerns.
- Patient Education: The LPN will deliver clinical education on postpartum care, STI prevention, and prescription management during patient interactions.
- Centering Pregnancy Support: The LPN will assist in facilitating Centering Pregnancy group sessions, providing education, and addressing patient concerns.
- Collaboration and Coordination: The LPN will work closely with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
Requirements
- A current Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Maryland.
- A current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate (CPR) required.
- Pediatric and/or Obstetrics and Gynecological experience is highly desired.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly desired.
Estimated Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
