Job Summary

Description:

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Med Tech-PRN to join our team at Piedmont Fayette Hospital. This is a PRN position.

About the Job

In this role, you will perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures according to protocols, policies, and procedures. You must adhere to A.L.A.R.A. programs and quality control procedures in accordance with manufacturer, state, and federal guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine and/or nuclear cardiology procedures.
  • Adhere to protocols, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain quality control procedures.

Qualifications

To be eligible for this position, you must have:

  • A graduate degree from a nuclear medicine program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
  • No minimum experience required.
  • A registered nuclear technologist certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (Nuclear) ARRT (N) or the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB-CNMT).
  • BLS certification.
