The Member Service Representative at Telhio Credit Union will be accountable for uncovering and satisfying the needs of our members. As a trusted advisor, you will be the 'One Telhio' solution for our members, delivering extraordinary service and innovative financial solutions. We are a local credit union serving and strengthening our community.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform all transactions in DNA accurately and efficiently, including cash withdrawals, deposits, and loan payments.
- Process credit card payments through our 3rd party portal.
- Process IRA/HSA transactions in Ascensus Open IRAs and HSAs.
- Process member requests for wires, as needed.
- Inform members about products, services, and current promotions.
- Cross-sell credit union products by answering inquiries, informing members of new services and product promotions, and ascertaining customer needs.
- Conform to all applicable Telhio policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Maintain member confidence and protect credit union operations by keeping information confidential.
- Balance cash drawers accurately.
- Comply with credit union operations and security procedures by participating in all dual-control functions.
- Witness and assist in audits as requested.
- Open all consumer accounts in DNA.
- Perform all account maintenance for consumer and business members.
- Process any disputes for consumer and business members.
- Closes loans, when needed, for members in branch.
- Perform other tasks as requested by supervisors as they relate to the bank and its functions.
- Three or more years of member/customer service experience.
- Three or more years of financial services experience preferred.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work some Saturday hours.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Telhio applicants must be able to pass a background check including: Credit, Drug Screen, Bondability, & Criminal Background.
