Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction HVAC Design Engineer to join our team at Insight Global. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing HVAC systems for various commercial projects.

Responsibilities

* Design and develop HVAC systems for commercial projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in HVAC design and technology

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering
* Professional Engineer's License (PE) in the state of Oregon or Washington, or ability to obtain easily
* 7+ years of experience in HVAC Design (airside and hydronic)
* Strong working knowledge of REVIT and AutoBid
* Practicing knowledge of electrical controls and power as related to mechanical systems
* Ability to be client-facing
* Knowledge of plumbing and piping system design
