Job Description

Narda MITEQ is seeking a highly skilled RF/Microwave Assembly Engineer Lead to join our team. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting production of active and passive microwave circuits and multi-function modules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop RF/microwave circuits and multi-function modules
  • Perform EM and linear simulations of microwave housings, transitions, and passive circuits
  • Develop specifications for microwave components and subassemblies
  • Generate test and data reports
  • Manage project schedules and labor for engineering developments

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrophysics and a minimum of 9 years of prior relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience
  • A minimum of 3 years of microwave active circuit design and simulation experience in at least two, but preferably more, active component areas
  • Extensive use and understanding of microwave test equipment, including network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters, and noise figure meters
  • Proficient in linear CAE and significant capability using non-linear CAE
  • Experience using EM simulation CAE
  • Ability to gain Secret Level Security Clearance

Preferred Skills:

  • Design experience with low noise amplifier design and extensive experience in the design of passive components
  • Knowledge/application of filter synthesis and design
  • Significant system analysis experience, comprising both cascade and spur analysis
  • Ability to manage projects and interface effectively with other functional areas
  • Experience designing products for manufacturing
  • Proficient use of Keysight ADS and Keysight RFPro CAE tools
  • Use of CAD tools such as AutoDesk Inventor and AutoCAD
