Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Teller to join our team at our Amherst branch. As a Teller, you will be responsible for providing unparalleled service to our customers while processing routine transactions efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service through a high level of professionalism both in person and over the phone.
  • Process routine transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, payments, and issuing official items quickly and accurately.
  • Identify customers' needs for additional services and transfer them to the appropriate staff member.
  • Balance and reconcile daily transactions, maintaining adequate cash levels by buying and selling from cash dispensers.
  • Work with branch leadership to develop relationship-based selling skills.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment and assume responsibility for self-improvement through training courses and personal development.
  • Maintain compliance with the Bank's policies, procedures, and legal guidelines.

Desired Experience & Skills

  • A strong desire to learn the sales process and develop interpersonal and communication skills.
  • The ability to perform simple math calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
