Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Mother/Baby team at Doctors Hospital of Augusta. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care to new mothers and their newborns, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for their recovery and well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to postpartum mothers and their newborns, including triage, assessment, and treatment.
  • Assist in educating patients and their support persons on newborn care, medication management, and treatment instructions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including test results and examination findings.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with an Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification.
  • Previous experience in Women's Health, Labor & Delivery, or High Risk Perinatal care is preferred.
