Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist plays a vital role in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases by performing high-quality nuclear medicine procedures. Under the supervision of a Radiologist, this technologist will work with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely imaging results.
Key Responsibilities- Perform nuclear medicine procedures according to established protocols and guidelines.
- Utilize effective communication skills to educate patients and families about the testing process and results.
- Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient environment.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, test results, and equipment maintenance.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
- Graduate of an accredited program in nuclear medicine technology.
- Less than 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine technology.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) licensure in the State of Texas.
- ARRT-N Nuclear Medicine Tech (ARRT-N) or CNMT certification.
