Job Summary

Bosch USA is seeking a highly skilled Wireless Research and Development Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our research and development team, you will be responsible for driving applied research in the area of next generation communication and sensing systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and Development: Drive applied research in the area of next generation communication and sensing systems, including the design and development of innovative intelligent wireless solutions with a focus on advanced signal processing and AI/ML.
  • Software Development: Design and develop software to implement proof of concept prototypes, conduct performance analysis and feasibility studies using simulations, experiments, and analytical modeling.
  • Industry Monitoring: Closely monitor state-of-the-art developments in academia, industry, and standardization activities, including ZigBee, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, UWB, etc.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Present results to management and others in the organization, develop and drive innovative ideas from scouting to projects, and publish research work in the form of patents and conference/journal publications.
  • Teamwork: Work in a highly diverse, international, and cross-disciplinary environment.
Requirements
  • Education: PhD in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience: Experience in wireless communication, signal processing, and machine learning, as well as experience in wireless sensing techniques, such as RSSI, ToF, CSI, and CIR.
  • Skills: Experienced in using different machine learning libraries and tools, such as TensorFlow, and experience with wireless standards, including IEEE 802.11x and BLE.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Strong C and Python programming skills, embedded programming experience, and excellent communication and collaboration skills.
