Job Overview

Hopedale Medical Complex is a dynamic healthcare provider seeking an experienced LPN to join our team as a Senior Nurse Practitioner. This role requires a highly skilled professional who can provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team.

Competitive Salary:

$30-$32 per hour, 30-32 hours weekly

About the Role

This position involves working in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. As a Senior Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality care of all residents, providing health service training to other employees, and using critical thinking skills along with good nursing judgment.

We are currently offering up to $10,000 in retention bonuses for experienced nursing home nurses. The shift is 6pm to 6:30 am, with a shift differential for night shift nurses of $3 for nights and $4 for the weekend. PRN employees are required to work a minimum of 24 hours, or 2 shifts per month, and one shift must be a weekend shift.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be compassionate, caring, and patient with the elderly resident population, and be willing to work rotating weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team
  • Assist in ensuring the quality care of all residents
  • Provide health service training to other employees
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and using critical thinking skills
  • Meet the requirements for CPR/AED certification or obtain upon hire
Requirements
  • Current State of Illinois RN/LPN license
  • CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
  • Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays
