Achieve Success in Regional Sales

 

As a Regional Sales Manager at Commercial Metals Company, you will be a key contributor to the growth and success of our Tensar Division in Lower Michigan.

 

Your primary responsibility will be to build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, successfully implementing bid strategies to close business and providing technical support to engineers, owners, and consultants to solve earthwork construction problems.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a business development plan focused on transportation, private development, commercial projects, and civil construction.
  • Assist and support the qualification of Tensar proprietary systems by successfully implementing bid strategies to close business.
  • Act as a liaison between Tensar's engineering department and the client to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Generate monthly reports to track key projects in each sector and forecast sales for manufacturing.
  • Train, educate, and provide technical support to distributors and provide job site assistance as required.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years sales experience preferred with knowledge of construction-related products a plus.
  • Minimum 2 years work experience in the construction industry.
  • Ability to travel regionally between 25% - 50% of the time.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, highly motivated, and a self-starter.
  • Exceptional organizational, prioritizing, and time management skills.
