Pediatric Nursing Specialist

About the RoleWe are looking for a compassionate and dedicated nurse with a passion for pediatric care. As a Registered Nurse in our Pediatric department, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans in accordance with our organization's policies and professional nursing practice standards.
Your primary focus will be on providing exceptional care to patients aged 0-18 years, including newborns, infants, children, and adolescents. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure that each patient receives comprehensive, family-centered care that addresses their physical, emotional, and developmental needs.

Key Responsibilities- Assess patients' physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, and discharge planning needs
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Provide direct patient care, coordinate care, delegate tasks, and supervise the activities of other healthcare team members
- Evaluate patient progress, revise care plans as needed, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and other caregivers
To be considered for this role, you must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of Colorado or compact RN licensure. A minimum of one year of experience in a pediatric setting is preferred, although new graduates are also encouraged to apply. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
A Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred, but not required. Additionally, certification in pediatric nursing (PCCN) or critical care nursing (CCRN) is highly valued.
Compensation and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary range of $56,000 - $92,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes health insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and continuing education opportunities.
