Cashier Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at Kroger. As a key member of our retail sales staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, operating the cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment.
• Maintain a high level of knowledge about products, services, and promotions to effectively engage with customers and make recommendations.
• Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Operate the cash register, handling cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to company standards for cleanliness and safety.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 6 months of retail sales experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service.
• Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
