Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Residential Care Manager to oversee the delivery of high-quality services to youth in our care. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing and managing daily operations, providing guidance and support to staff, and ensuring the well-being and safety of our clients.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Implement and manage residential care programs to meet the needs of youth referred by the Office of Refugee Resettlement.
  • Provide consultation and guidance to employees on goal-planning, case management, and referrals.
  • Convene multidisciplinary meetings to incorporate choice and voice of family and natural supports.
  • Ensure timely completion of assessments, goal plans, and case management documents.
  • Facilitate employee team meetings and monitor employee development and training.
Supervisory Tasks:
  • Collaborate with Human Resources to recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate employees.
  • Assist the Director in developing onboarding and learning programs based on contracts and grants.
  • Alert the Director and Human Resources to job performance issues that may require disciplinary action.
  • Supervise and facilitate supervision meetings with supervisors and case managers.
Program Administration:
  • Ensure compliance with major grants, contracts, data collection, and reporting requirements.
  • Become familiar with and monitor implementation of funding/referral agency requirements.
  • Maintain positive relationships with key employees of funding/referral agencies.
  • Prepare required reports for funders, including Office of Refugee Resettlement and Department of Children, Youth and Families contracts.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences, human services, or social services field; or equivalent experience.
  • Five years of experience in child welfare, including supervisory and case management experience.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish.
  • Certifications: CPR, First Aid, Bloodborne Pathogens, and TB test.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills.
  • Knowledge of Council on Accreditation (COA) and Washington Administrative Code (WAC) for Residential Group Homes.
