ECG Technician

About the Role

CHI St. Alexius Health is seeking a skilled ECG Technician to join our team. As an ECG Technician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care by performing electrocardiogram procedures at the bedside in all areas of the hospital and clinics.

Key Responsibilities

• Properly perform ECGs on adult patients, including geriatrics, adolescent, and pediatric patients, maintaining effective communication with the patient and the ordering physician.
• Perform technical duties in the CHI St. Alexius Health ECG Lab.
• Organize services provided to remote sites using the St. Alexius ECG management system.
• Responsible for monthly sundry billing, reports for H & L clinic.
• Train new staff in-house and at remote sites as needed.
• Responsible for yearly PM and troubleshooting and replacing equipment as needed.

Requirements

• Current BCLS certification is required.
• Basic computer skills are necessary.
• Previous work with ECG is desirable.
