Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physical Therapist to join our team at Choice Physical Therapy & Wellness, Inc. as a Clinical Director. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for patient care and a commitment to helping patients recover their independence and mobility.

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and direction to the clinic, including developing and implementing policies, objectives, and programs for patient care.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the clinic, including supervising therapists and providing staff support.
  • Perform initial and ongoing physical therapy evaluations according to APTA standards of practice and state standards.
  • Develop and implement Plan of Treatment for each patient, including short and long-term goals, collaboration with other staff members, and required patient and caregiver involvement.
  • Document patient progress according to approved medical documentation and facility documentation procedures.
  • Evaluate patient mobility, strength, and current level of function, and set goals to improve in these areas.
  • Report patient progress to patients, caregivers, and loved ones, facility staff, and healthcare professionals involved in ongoing treatment/care of patients.
  • Develop a plan for patients following completion of their Plan of Treatment, including in-home care services.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge through attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, etc.
Qualifications
  • Proven record of matching patient needs to treatment plans and implementing these plans safely and effectively.
  • Experience in Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of responsible use of facility equipment, best practices for equipment use, and preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Experience with recommending assistive equipment to patients and outpatient or home health follow-up programs.
  • Experience working with a wide range of patient age groups and injuries.
  • A strong sense of empathy, a compassionate outlook on PT, and the ability to motivate patients into pushing their limits in a responsible and safe way.

Pay: From $82,000.00 per year with higher options based on experience
