As a Delivery Expert and Tech Installation Specialist at Best Buy, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional customer experiences. With our focus on enriching lives through technology, we're looking for skilled professionals to join our team.

About the Role

This part-time position involves delivering, installing, repairing, and hauling away appliances, TVs, and other tech devices of basic complexity. You'll work independently or as part of a team to ensure seamless delivery experiences for our customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering major appliances into homes and other locations, including measuring and protecting areas in the installation route.
  • Determining whether any doors need to be removed or fixtures need to be moved.
  • Installing, networking, and repairing devices with a focus on home theater equipment and appliances.
  • Providing advice on product placement, services, and other content to deliver a seamless client experience.
  • Managing inventory and vehicle maintenance in partnership with other team members.
  • Processing paperwork and payment, providing feedback to store teams, and completing in-store repairs.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • At least 6 months of experience in consumer electronics delivery, integration, network, or repair, or military equivalent.
  • A current, valid driver's license.
  • A driving record that meets Best Buy's safety standards (e.g., minimal number of violations/accidents).
  • The ability to carry, lift, push, and pull weights up to 350 pounds alone or up to 700 pounds as part of a team, with the use of a harness, lift, or dolly, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Leadership, decision-making, written and verbal communication, and client relations skills.
