Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fleet Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Sysco North Dakota, Inc. in Fargo, ND. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our fleet of vehicles.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and equipment to identify potential issues and recommend repairs.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues with vehicles and equipment.
  • Work with drivers and other team members to resolve maintenance-related issues and ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer recommendations and industry best practices for maintenance and repair.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in medium/heavy duty truck maintenance preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in fleet maintenance and repair; ASE certifications a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate a variety of vehicles and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
