Compensation

The estimated salary for this position ranges from $14.25 to $16.50 per hour, depending on position, shift, certifications, and experience.

Responsibilities

As a DSP at our residential program, you will provide direct care support to adults with intellectual disabilities and/or autism. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as a role model and inspiring clients to be independent
  • Administering medication and assisting with personal care
  • Supporting clients in daily activities and promoting recreational, social outings, and activities
Requirements

To be eligible for this position, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Hold an active driver's license
  • Experience in direct care is preferred but not required; willingness to train is essential
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents and coworkers whose primary language is English
