About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Clinical Support Specialist to join our team at ATI Physical Therapy in Lakeway, TX. As a key member of our clinical support staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our outpatient orthopedic physical therapy company.

Job Summary

The Clinical Support Specialist will work alongside licensed clinicians to provide direct patient care and support, including setting up and adjusting exercise equipment, instructing and monitoring exercise performance, and assisting with therapeutic modalities as prescribed. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to maintain a clean and organized clinic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care and support under the supervision of licensed clinicians, including setting up and adjusting exercise equipment and instructing patients on exercises.
  • Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment, following cleaning and sanitation protocols and ordering supplies as needed.
  • Assist with patient registration, scheduling, and check-in processes.
  • Support clinicians with patient care activities, including documenting patient information and completing medical forms.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance knowledge and skills in areas such as patient care, customer service, and communication.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare, exercise science) or equivalent experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; prior healthcare experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certified Personal Trainer or other relevant certifications a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
