Job Summary
The Nurse Aide I supports and incorporates WakeMed's Patient & Family Centered Care (PFCC) model by delivering patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse. The key concepts of PFCC are: Dignity and Respect, Information Sharing, Participation, and Collaboration. The Nurse Aide I understands the needs of the organization and supports the mission, vision, values, and aspirational goals.
Responsibilities
Assist Registered Nurses with patient care and daily tasks
Support patients and families in participating in care and decision-making
Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver high-quality care
Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
Requirements
1 year of clinical experience in a related area preferred
High School Diploma or Equivalent required
Nurse Aide I certification required
Ability to work three 12-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend
